Cadre is made by Paul Anderson Productions LLC (“Cadre”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. They're short — please read them.

Who can use Cadre

You must be 18 or older to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are.

Your mentors are AI

Every mentor in Cadre is an artificial-intelligence character, not a human reviewing your photos. That includes Paul Anderson (an AI mentor modeled on Paul's published teaching philosophy — not Paul personally reviewing your work), Cole Hunter, Iris Hale, Vera Cross, and any mentor we add in the future (for example a beginner mentor, Warren, currently in development). Critiques, scores, assignments, edit suggestions, answers, and spoken narration are all AI-generated.

AI feedback is an opinion offered to help you learn. It can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. It is not professional, legal, or business advice, and we make no promise about results — improved photos, sales, contest placings, or client work. You decide what to do with it.

Your photos stay yours

You keep all rights to every photo you upload.
You give Cadre a limited permission to store and process your photos only to provide the service: generating your critiques and answers, and keeping a small thumbnail with your history so your mentor can remember your work.
We never use your photos to train AI models. We only show them publicly under the "Featuring your work" section below, which you can opt out of.
Upload only photos you own or have the right to use. You are responsible for any people in your photos and any permissions they require.
No sexually explicit content. The AI can't review it, and it's not what Cadre is for.

Featuring your work (you can opt out)

Cadre grows by showing real members' progress. By using Cadre you allow us to feature your photos, scores, and critique excerpts in Cadre's marketing — the website, social media, and demonstrations of the app — with or without your name. You can opt out at any time: untick the box at signup, or switch it off in Settings. From then on we won't use your work in new material. This covers your photograph only — if people appear in it, you are responsible for having their permission.

Emails from Cadre

We send account emails you need (confirmations, password resets, billing notices). We also send occasional news about new mentors, features, and offers if the email box is ticked at signup — you can untick it there, switch it off in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any such email.

Your account

One account per person, with accurate details. Keep your password private.
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful or abusive content, no attempts to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer Cadre.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. Your photos, critiques, and questions are deleted with it.

Beta, changes, and availability

Cadre is in active development. Features may change, be paused, or be removed, and data may occasionally be reset while in beta. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll ask you to agree again before you continue.

Membership and payments

Cadre is free during the beta. When paid membership launches, here is how it works:

Prices and trial. Prices are shown before you subscribe. New members get a free trial; you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel during the trial at no cost.
Renewal. Memberships renew automatically (monthly or yearly, whichever you chose) until you cancel. We'll remind you before a yearly renewal.
Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from Settings. Cancelling stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't charge a cancellation fee.
Yearly plans — 14-day money-back. If you cancel a yearly plan within 14 days of being charged, email us and we'll refund the full amount. After 14 days, yearly payments are not refunded (you keep access for the rest of the year), except at our discretion in unusual circumstances — email us and we'll listen.
Monthly plans. Monthly payments are not refunded; simply cancel before your next billing date.
Promo codes apply only as described in the offer, usually to the first billing period, after which the regular price applies.
Price changes. Prices may change. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds, where given, go back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

No warranty, limited liability

Cadre is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Paul Anderson Productions LLC is not liable for lost photos or data, missed opportunities, or decisions you make based on AI feedback. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Cadre in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

Disputes

Cadre is operated by Paul Anderson Productions LLC. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. If something goes wrong, please email us first — we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
